Arbaeen is a symbol of love, faith, and sacrifice. Each year, millions of devotees of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) travel on foot to Karbala from around the world to express their loyalty to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). However, this great movement requires continuous support, compassion, and dedicated service. For this reason, the charity initiative “Support Sirat Arbaeen” has been launched to enhance the services along the Arbaeen path through your generous donations.

why helping arbain path?

This initiative has been established with pure intentions and the aim of supporting the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him). All funds collected will be used exclusively for projects directly implemented along the Arbaeen pilgrimage route. These projects include the following:

1. Planting trees in arbain path

One of the most significant challenges faced by pilgrims on the long Arbaeen journey is the intense heat and lack of shade. With your support, we aim to plant resilient, climate-appropriate saplings along selected areas of the Najaf to Karbala route. In the coming years, these trees will provide much-needed shade for the pilgrims as they walk this sacred path. In addition to offering comfort, this initiative plays an important role in protecting the environment.

2. Establishment and equipping of service mawakeb (stations)

With your financial support, new mawakeb will be established at strategic locations along the route. These stations provide services such as hospitality, accommodation, hygiene facilities, electronic device charging, and basic medical care. Each mawkib is equipped with essential supplies and managed by dedicated volunteers.

3. Treatment of blisters and skin issues of pilgrims

One of the most common issues during the Arbaeen walk is blisters and foot injuries. With your support, we will deploy a team of volunteer doctors along the route to provide free services such as blister treatment, massage, wound dressing, and medical consultation. Ensuring the health and well-being of the pilgrims is one of our top priorities.

4. Waste collection with the help of community volunteers

With the increasing number of pilgrims, the volume of waste also rises. One of the main goals of the “Support Sirat Arbaeen” initiative is to assist volunteer teams who work on cleaning the pilgrimage route. With your help, we provide essential equipment such as trash bags, gloves, carts, and special uniforms to these dedicated volunteers, ensuring the path remains clean and beautiful at all times.
